Hi Emma,

Our solicitor supplied a simple form that our doctors had to stamp and sign to say no major health issues. Some surgeries charge £25, ours was free but took 2 weeks. If they still refuse maybe have to do privately, but it will still need to be translated. As for health insurance, we used Salus in Alicante. €1500 for both of us.

That’s great thank you our doctors just won’t sign it 😡😡 too busy apparently 🤷‍♀️ So I’ve drawn a blank on that one.

Doctors are not obliged to do this, but most do.

However, they are obliged to provide you with a copy of your medical records on request, so unfortunately you will need to find a private doctor, explain the situation and find out what they charge and then get your records from your GP to provide to the private doctor to complete the form.
