Heard lots stories about health care we are couple 52+42 if we bought and moved to spain how much are people paying for health care and when and how can you get Spanish NHS costs etc

First year you need private healthcare as under retirement age. This varies but we pay €60 each per month but does not cover pre existing conditions. The private clinic is fantastic. You'll need this for residencia. After 1 year you can apply to join Convenio Especial (Spanish healthcare system). This is €60 a month under age of 65 but doubles over 65! This does cover pre existing conditions and you do have to pay 100% prescription costs.
