Lived in Alicante mountains for past 18 years and now considering moving downhill. Camposol looks just the place.

Reference to 'altitude'  only.................but take your point.

Crime.......No more than anywhere else in Spain or the UK.

Police.......Police presence yes but no police station.

IBI Tax......On a Fiesta 2 bedroom model approx 151 euro per year.

Car...........You could get away with no car on A & B but you will severely restrict yourself to what you can & can't do.

Paying 380 euro for IBI up here!  Thanks for your response.

You should only take advice from people that actually live on Camposol .. poster's like Spanglish do not live on Camposol ...so they can only give you the story that they heard from Tony down the pub that he in turn got from his mate Pete down the pub...I have had a place on Camposol for 13 years ...it has a great community especially on D sector ...you will need transportation of some kind no matter what part of Camposol you live on .

We pay 365€ IBI on a 2bed fortuna, corner plot on B.

Friends have a 3bed fortuna on D middle of row...they pay under 300€...

if i was worried about police presence i would pause for thought

I ask the question because it reflects the town hall's interest and commitment to the place.   Police cost them money!!!   We get patrols from local police and GC and every voting year a promise of a police station that never materialises.  We get robberies in bursts, five in one week then nothing for three months.  Travelling rogues.....

There used to be a police office in the Commercial Centre on A many years ago.
