Thank you for that  and you never know we may be come neighbours!   We are going to take our time looking however, if something we see is the one we will probably  change our plans and move earlier. Calasparra sounds beautiful.

Hi as regards alterations to properties as the area has not been adopted by the council yet planning permission for building works will not be granted.Having said that you will notice hundreds of properties that have alterations done! Five minutes on Camposol and you will see a builders van.So unless you want to wait years for the council to get there act together people ignore regs and just have work done and in the future apply for planning permission retrospectively.cheers

Thank you for that I did ask Mercers and they said yes for a pool but planning  permission for other alterations were not being granted at this time? that now makes sense when I have looked at properties and can see where they have been extended and altered.
