Crime is no different here than anywhere else always ensure that you keep everything locked when you leave your premises have security lights in operation where possible and if you are gardening make sure your gates are locked most thieves are opportunist so just be vigilant at all times

Never had a problem in the eight years we have had our holiday home (which is obviously left empty for months at a time).  Always gives me the feeling of being safe and I often go out on my own.
