I have just bough a house on sector d32 and suddenly a lot of damp has appeared around the window but really badly in bottom right hand corner.

Any advice will be appreciated

Thanks Linda

Your bedrooms / bathrooms /kitchen that are in use ..will give you  problems due to not opening the window's to air the property out at least 1 hour per day will be OK ..works for me for the last 11 year's

Have you got a gas heater? I found black molds appeared around my windows and behind furniture  when I had a gas fire. I now have a wood burner and it is wonderful. No damp anywhere.  A xx

Ventilate, ventilate, ventilate - is the answer !  Also having a background dry heart of some sort i.e. electric low wattage heaters when you don't want windows open. I have 2 radiant type gas heaters in my Fortuna living area diner/lounge type with wall panel electric heaters and find them quite acceptable. - Electric rads in the bedrooms keep the clothes in my wardrobes dry. Alternatively, invest in central heating, it's a myth Spanish houses don't need any.
