Hi, my water heater has pilot light on but does not ignite when hot water tap is turned on. Water pressure for hot water is really low. Wonder if anyone could give some genuine sound advice please.
Do you mean the hot water pressure out of the tap is low ??
Is the cold water pressure out of the tap low as well??

No just the hot. I think there is a problem with the boiler though as the cold water is fine.

Sounds like the boiler then.
If you find the make & model number of your boiler then have a search on Google or on
YouTube you will probably find some guidance.

Its possible that your heater needs descaling if only the hot is affected. This can cause a blockage and cause low pressure. Sometimes the hot outlet pipe has scale in the outlet. I can talk you through checking it out.
