Have you tried Movistar. Never had any problems with them. They are the best company and appear to be able to lay fibre cables where other companies are unable to or just can't be bothered. This is Spain and never more has the saying 'if, at first, you don't succeed, try, try, try again'. Beware ...

...though, don't be conned into taking air fibre which other companies will try to get you to take. It is not the same and will not improve things for you.

Thank you, yes we have looked at that company and as soon as we are out of contract will move across to them. Waited in for fibranet who surprise surprise didnt show up ( thats the 5th time they have said they will be out and dont bother)

Back in the UK for a while now so the in laws are going to try and get it sorted.

Thank you everyone who has commented, i couldnt always respond due to no internet service but your help is much appreciated

Hi there.

Satellite dishes are more old school now, streaming is the way to go. Companies dealing in these services advertise in the Euro Weekly which is a free newspaper which comes out on Thursdays. If you also have broadband installed, you should have no problems with the signal dropping out (provided you have a decent internet connection)  as streaming is via your internet connection.

Best of luck.
