Registering forwith a doctor

I have my residency and social security paperwork but when I tried to register with the doctors they asked for my empadronamieivto. can anyone advise what this is and how I get one in Fuente?

Your padron you get from your ayunmiento or town hall and you have to register with them so they can claim local taxes from the national government. Medical care requires you are registered on the padron. Hope this helps. Sue.

Hi Stephen.You will need your passport, your NIE number, your residencia certificate and any documents you have relating to your property, so they know who you are and where you will be living.

When we did ours, we went to our town hall, not speaking any Spanish, the lady there had no English! But we all had a good laugh and got it all done with no problems.
