homesick too! I was hopping over every 6 weeks during 2018 (bought our house end of 2017) as we're in La Ribera and a stones throw away from the lovely murcia san javier airport. Now it has closed down I probably won't be back until March. I stayed the whole of november and we had floods. The weather improved about 3 days before I came back to the Uk. Lol. I am missing the sun. I know it is cold over there at night, but it is nowhere near as cold as over here. I'm in the south east aswell. I noticed there is just 3 buses a day to/from Corvera. I've booked to Alicante. It's going to be a long journey to La Ribera, but buses are more frequent.

Hi Jools, know the feeling we managed to buy our wee Spanish house in April 2017 & love it, We can't get flights from Edinburgh to corvera yet but fingers crossed they will soon, we are near Las Palas so only 20 mins away from corvera. Good to know about the buses though, we usually hire a car & drive down from Alicante.
It's freezing here atm & looking forward to retirement in 3 years time we really can't wait..
I agree when it's cold it's worse than uk as the heating/insulation is poor
