Hi there

We are looking at renting a holiday home in la torre resort but as I will be working remotely broadband will be a necessity and was wondering what broadband was like, speeds, stability download limits etc. I looked on a2z site and the fibre broadband seems to be in roldan as opposed to on the resort. Thanks in advance..

Hi

We have an apartment on La Torre. The internet was very good and late last year it was upgraded to full fibre so should be even better. However we can’t confirm that personally as we have been unable to visit. Our friends who live there permantly have told us it’s very good.

Best wishes

The 'free' internet access (included in our fees) is quoted at 30mbs, but normally comes in at 20/25mbs. I'm currently watching football (streaming), my better half is watching streaming TV and also on IPad and laptop, so works pretty well.

A2Z are trying to install fibre throughout the resort, but the current situation may be having an impact. We were upgraded about 8 weeks ago. (took less than 1/2 hour)

If you really need more speed, I understand you can pay for up to 100mbs.

Hopefully this helps.

I’ve been living on la torre for the past 3 months and the internet speed is around the 25/30mb. It does however drop off a little during high demand times. Never really had any problems with streaming etc. Mobile phone signal is also variable especially depending on your carrier. I struggled to pick up 4G with Sky mobile but my wife had no issues with EE. Good luck.
