My husband has an Irish passport, but I only have a UK passport. I have read that I can enter Spain under the same rules as my husband…my question is how?
At passport control my passport gets stamped and scanned, his does not. What is it that I need …is there a visa to apply for?
We are not residents in Spain and not currently intending to be.
Any help would be gratefully received.

Thank you for asking about this Lesleyf06. We’re not planning on staying in the EU for more than 90 days, but I have an Irish Passport (as well as a British one) and my husband just has a British one. I was interested in what the position is re a spouse. Gets really confusing ploughing through the guidance!

I still cannot find a definitive answer. I may try the Spanish Consulate in Manchester as I think I need to get an answer from the authority.
