My wife and I are planning to drive, via Bilbao, to Le Torre golf resort for a months stay on Monday but have heard reports that the Murcia area is in a corona virus lock down situation.

We were wondering if any residents have any information as to whether the lockdown includes entry into Le Torre golf. As long as we can enter the resort we’re quite happy staying there in the sun🌞.

Many thanks.

Dave

Is that a plea or is that a fact.....! as it doesn’t really answer the original question.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

It would appear, after following the news reports that this situation is exceptionally fluid and seems to be changing by the hour.

Because of this it is advice that we have now decided to follow, we will therefore stay in the wet, windy ☹️ U.K.

We wish you all well over the next few months and we’ll hopefully look forward to visiting Le Torre in the not to distant future.

Many thanks.

Glad you took our advice Dave. The situation is not fluid, it's cast in concrete. Murcia is locked down (at least on the coast) Only farmacias and supermercados are open. The police are patrolling the streets. All airports have now been closed and flights turned back. Keep well and safe Dave.

Absolutely, poor old bloody Blighty. It has been rudderless since the Referendum and I can only fear it will get worse.

Please don't go back to blaming everything on the referendum, it has absolutely nothing to do with this crisis.

I agree, Britain doesn't appear to have any sensible leadership and I'm amazed that foreigners are still being allowed in at the airports and ports let alone being checked when they do. I nearly bought Jet2 flights last week but decided against it.....thankfully. It would appear that Spain is taking things more seriously than Britain, and I wish everyone well over there. At least you know where you stand. In Britain we just get media reports and uncertainty about anything to do with this Pandemic.

Hi rma44....I will certainly continue to blame everything on the Referendum. Apart from that I agree with all you have written.

It’s unfounded, unintelligent, blinkered and totally ridiculous to blame the current situation in the U.K. on the referendum and who’s to say which country or state has got dealing with this crisis correct.

In case your not aware we are ALL in uncharted waters with reference to how to deal with the situation and the referendum result would have made absolutely no difference whatsoever.

We can only hope that irrespective of were we live our respective authorities deal with the situation as best they can.
