Hi, has anyone used a car site to purchase a left hand drive car in the UK to drive over to Spain and leave there. With prices being very expensive in Spain and costs to modify a UK bought car to meet Spanish requirements, I'm looking at other alternatives. TIA

If you are thinking of buying in the uk and the car has a uk registration remember you will have to reregister in Spain and the car may be from one of the many other European countries and have a bad history so please be careful.
Back in 1998 I bought a left hand drive in the Uk and had no problems going backward and forward eventually I re sold in the Uk and got more than I paid
If it has a Spanish registration you can check its complete history by using Carfax a tracing company which I have used on various occasions I believe it is about 30 euros for one search you can check out the site by following link below.

I bought a 10 month old Spanish registered car from a left hand drive car garage in Nottingham. Really easy, then sold it here for the same money 3 years later!!!
