Hi again Richard.  Very helpful comment so thanks.  However I’ve already got all the documentation needed and to be honest I’m not too sure how to upload it.  I don’t want to risk losing the boarding passes so I’m just hoping that the QR code on the boarding pass won’t be...

... invalidated. It’s only the QR pixels which are read isn’t it?  As said I will have the contact locator form, pre fight test paper, confirmation of Day 2 PCR test and our Covid passport.   Should be ok shouldn’t I?  Cheers, RicardoW

Hi. I'm sure you will be ok with paper copies of everything. I should think a lot of people have done that. For the record, I had already saved the boarding passes then after adding the Covid passes I was able to save and print again.

Won’t have a paper copy of the Contact locator form - no printer!  The QR code will have to do.

Hi all. We have booked to return back to the UK next week and we have our boarding pass QR’s. Having looked at them above the code there is a message which reads “Covid documentation not uploaded”  Despite having all the other necessary documentation in place such as pre flight Covid t...

...est, contact locator form and confirmation of our having booked a day 2 PCR test on our mobiles separately downloaded is the boarding pass going to get us through check-in?  Advise please. Best regards to all. Richard 🤞

I was as confused as you when I returned to the Uk last Friday, Ryanair, it seems to me, make everything more difficult than it need be.

You don't need to worry about 'uploading documents'. I don't even know why they have that statement...as long as you have your docs, either printed of on your phone you'll be fine.

Bring back easyJet to Murcia...pleeeeeease!

This message is really more for Ryan Air personnel I think, and think there is perhaps some background screening going on, of the documentation which is uploaded.  They know for those with nothing uploaded that they just need to do a thorough paper documentation check.

The lack of any uploaded documents does not invalidate your boarding pass.  But you do need to have all the correct paper documentation.

coming out to Soain about 30% of my flight were denied boarding, mainly because most had their COVID test done too early, or did not have the correct vaccination documentation.  There was much confusion, with people not realising that the test timeline is based on Arrival time not departure.

Firstly many thanks to everyone on this site for their helpful information. Also refreshing that everyone is very polite as we’re all feeling our way through this. Hopefully we fly on 26 July and I have everything in hand and about to book our tests in the UK. I notice that only day 2 tests have been mentioned. Is that because you won’t be in the UK for day 8 or have I missed something?

Many thanks to everyone

As I understand it if you are double jabbed you only need to do the day 2 test.

Thank you.

I am confused because the Gov.UK site says that you need proof of a UK vaccination otherwise it’s day 2, 8 and a 10 day quarantine, which begs the question ‘why isn’t a Spanish vaccine good enough!

A BBC article I’ve just read only mentions a vaccination which sounds more sensible but I’m so nervous of getting it wrong!

We’re both double vaccinated and therefore only need a day 2 PCR test.
