Car / small van hire Lorca

Car hire rates in Spain are a lot higher than previous years as many companies cut back their fleets and are also trying to make up for 2 years of losses due to Covid.

There is an Enterprise branch in Lorca and also DFM (a local company). At the moment, you'd be looking at about €300 per week for a small car or van.

You will get a wider selection and possibly better prices (but not much) by renting from an airport - Murcia or Alicante. Before we bought a car here, we used Centauro who we find have the best balance of price & good service; or use the broker DoYouSpain.com.  I would strongly suggest that you avoid Goldcar & Interrent, despite their apparent low prices.

DFM car and van hire are excellent. Mechanic speaks English. They are on the road between Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, just as you are leaving Lorca.
