The regional Covid Monitoring Committee met on Monday 28th December to evaluate the current level of contagions in the Murcia region, and took the decision to maintain the perimeter confinement in the Los Alcázares municipality for a further week, due to the continued high level of cases.

The 7 day accumulated incidence rate remains stubbornly above 250, with 254 cases per 100,000 and the 14 day rate at 588, both levels considered to be too high to risk opening the municipality once again.
Abanilla has also been moved into confinement following a sharp increase in cases during the last few days; the 7day rate having risen to 293 cases per 100,000 of population.

I did not misunderstand your post at all.

The original poster asked if they could travel from Los Alcazares to Dos Mares.

You initially responded 'Los Alcazeres and Dos Mares are both within the Murcia region, so I think you can travel from LA to DM'  with the caveat 'but please double check with the local authority to be sure'. 

You were corrected by several posters as it had nothing to do with 'Region' and had to do with movement in/out of the two Municipalities in question.

No point in answering a question incorrectly if there is a caveat behind it Marcel.

Why not let's leave it at that though?

Are you not reading what is said what are the rules no travel in or out of los alcazares so all this talk of Murcia it is a municipality situation so because los alcazares is a munivipality and seems to be ravaged with covid because of people who do not read or understand the rules 

No travel in or out of los alcazares perhaps if we all keep to it perhaps we can get out of it 

As of 4th January, a further extension of Los Alcázares border closure has been announced.

Its very likely that other municipalities will have same rules imposed.

Villanueva del Río Segura, Fortuna, Jumilla, San Pedro del Pinatar, Las Torres de Cotillas, La Unión y Santomera, Abanilla and Los Alcázares are the 9 municipios that are now locked down until further notice. I am sure that certain people write questiones and responses just for something to do the information contained in this post is readily available and is not rocket science so anyone who can not or says they do not understand is writing for the sake of doing so, shame as it is depriving others of sensible help in answer to questions 

It would seem we are destined to be a culinder for visitors 

The shops are full and the visitors are piling in vía the 

332 both ends and we waited at the roundabout 

On the trece de Octobre for a minute to get out of a long trail of cars all

These are visitors or returning 

Locals who have been out  ?? Not  seen a police car

Think they must be shopping in dos mares los alcazares 

Was as busy as ever today we need help mayor where is he ????

At last today a police car for 40 mins was stopping cars on the 332 at fire station, out of all the ones stopped all but one was turned round and sent back to where it came ?? And hopefully warned about breaking los alcazares lockdown perhaps more of these stops will deter visitors and importation of covid 

Or the exportation of Covid? Los Alcázares is one of the hotspots - hence the perimetral closure - to stop people from leaving!

Today Spain rose another 5,000 and 12,000 over two days we went and walked along the beach and on our way back we passed the camper van site in los narejos it is packed with vans how 

We are not allowed out ? No one is allowed in yet somehow all these campervans arrive without anyone noticing ??

Then there are the 1000s of cars arriving daily  and leaving daily all workers ?
