Yesterday had a discussion with Murcia Salud about the upcoming Spanish Covid-19 vaccination program. It is the intention of the Spanish Health Department to firstly vaccinate patients and staff in aged persons facilities, then all the doctors and nurses through the whole health system. After that the over 65's who are registered with the various provincial heath departments, such as Murcia Salud will be phoned and told where to be and when for vaccination. Then they will work down through the age range.
I am an autonomo, making social security payments, I have a CARM registration and a Spanish health card,(Tarjeta Sanitaria) so I will be in that group.
Out of curiosity, I asked what about the Ingles who are not the Padron? The response was a shrug
I can understand that the Spanish will not be keen to allocate early vaccination slots to people who are not registered even with their local council ahead of their own citizens, but has anyone information on the vaccination program for extranerjos who do not have Spanish health cards?
