Did the FCS form need to be done for the teenager? Reading the Spain Travel Health site I read it that the firm needs completing to get a QR code.

If unvaccinated yes need to fill out spanish health form and enter pcr or antigen result to get qr code. If vaccinated don't need form.

12 to 17 year olds if double vaccinated don't need boosters.

If single vaccinated several options.

Covid recovery certificate if tested positive in the last six months,. If a NHS test a certificate can be issued via the app. If a private test then you need to pay for it £36 I paid.

PCR test 72 Hrs before departure or Lateral flow 24 Hrs before departure.

BUT these tests are only valid of payed for via a provider who issue a bar QR code.

IMPORTANT you can test positive on a PCR test up to 90 days after having COVID. You can test positive on a Lateral Flow even if you don't have any symptoms.

My granddaughter tested positive on a PCR at Easter a day before flying, she had only one vaccination and could not fly. She had no symptoms but had COVID a few weeks before which is why she didn't have the second jab.

We now have a recovery certificate as the best option,

Just need to hope the PCR test is negative, however the Covid numbers in UK are high so no surprise if a positive result.

The PCR is most likely to pick up an old infection, the 90 days figure was given to my by someone high up in Public Health England.

Lateral Flow tests are safer, many people will tell you that often people are negative, but positive on the PCR.
