Test prior to leaving Spain for UK

That is correct - providing you are not travelling to Scotland, where this is still required.

However, remember that, until 'the end of October' (the date hasn't yet been confirmed), you also still need to pre-book a Day 2 PCR test package for your arrival in the UK.

I does and thank you so much.  My daughter in UK has already booked my Day 2 test ready for when I return. I haven't heard of any October changes but we can never be sure so I'll keep checking. 

No Scotland are now aligning with the uk on this.

I’m due to fly out to Spain on Thursday for ten days. To the best of my knowledge I will not need a 72 hour test to return to the UK. I will however require a day 2 PCR test. 

Thank you. That is as I understood it so cancelled the appointment but I received an email from Easyjet and it still referred to the 72 hour test. All replies here, however, suggest this is no longer the case. 

Flew back to England yesterday. No test required before we left. Just had to show proof of double jabs and locator form. Still need day 2 test on return.
