Any one got recommendations for health insurance for a non lucrative visa . I’ve checked out Asssa & they are very expensive as you have to have the highest level of cover in Mercia unlike Alicante where you could have standard cover at half the price .
would be grateful for any help .

Try DKV we are with them since 2018.

We 68 + 76 pay 370,00 per month plus 150 per year for dental care.

We have no Pre-existing illness.....

We are with Sanitas (part of the BUPA group) and paid approx. €1,200 for the two of us (aged 50 & 48, no pre-existing conditions).

It's worth spending some time shopping around, as we got quotes up to 6 x that amount.

Thanks for the advice on DKV - we will retire on non lucratives this year im 55 and my wife is 59 so we need the insurance. My first two quotes were around 12K per year but DKV comes in at 2K per year which although expensive is manageable.
