Not trying to teach you to suck eggs, but have you checked the main fuse, near the meter?

I don't even know where the meter is, not like in UK where its inside or on the wall outside.

I think the meters are padlocked and only Iberdrola workers can open them.

You should phone Iberdrola for them to get an engineer out asap...

I've rang them half a dozen times, automated answer saying they will ring me back.  Just rang again and asked the person to take my details and pass it on to the relevant dept. So far, no call back. I found the meter at end of road, looks like electric is coming into the property so I'm baffled. Will call in at the office in Los Alcazares when it reopens at 4-30. Looks like a second day with no electric unless they send someone out later .

Have you checked the switch panel In the property ? Put them all up leave a couple of minutes then turn on the large single switch and on by one turn on every other one.

Ibdrola will make an exorbitant charge if you don't have a plan with them.

Most household insurance policies have emergency services and first 3 hours are normally free.

For some reason people forget they are insured and panic during an emergency

Yes, tried everything, nothing works and it looks like there is no problem at the electric meter point.

I have done, also went to Ibredrola in Los Alcazares. Seems the property has a certificate for 3 kW so I need to contact the distributor to get it upped.  Have had enough for today will call them tomorrow,  no doubt they will need to update the fusebox,then bill me, and my bills will go up accordingly. 

So what did your Insurance company do?
