I am staying in Roda and have my padron from San Javier. Where and how can I exchange my UK driving licence for a spanish one?

You need a medical certificate…the private clinic Virgen del Caridad do the medical but you need an appointment. They’ll send all the paperwork to Trafico for you. Costs around 40€ depending on age.

You get your medical certificate for €40 but thats all they do. Insurance agents next to la ola bar will do fhe swap for €120 and save you a trip to the trafico in cartegena

You can obtain medical next to traffico 15 euros no appointment necessary.

Hi,
Yes the quickest way is to goto Trafico in Cartagena. Next to the Trafico office there is a medical centre which do the medical check as someone else has said, without appointment. Turn up at 9.30am. They pass all the info directly to Trafico the same day. You will also need two passport photos for the Trafico office.
If you are over 70 you do not need an appointment at Trafico and it is free.
Under 70 cost around 25€
