I haven't done anything yet to the house. Does this type of thing happen often in the area?

Yeah, I'm going to do that. Tried to ring them today, but no answer. I get it, they have their own homes to deal with . Not to mention the roads are flooded . I'm going to try tomorrow.

Hi folks,
I just purchased a house in LA last month. Heard about the heavy rains. Hopefully everyone is safe.

Wondering if there was flooding in LA. I move into my house next month.
Thanks, and again hope everyone is safe.
Hi,
We have just moved to LA (Lomas del Rame) 3 weeks ago. our house was OK, though some in our street were not so fortunate. However, my beautiful Jaguar was flooded.
I've spoken to neighbours, many of whom have been there for 15+ years, and they said this was the worst Gota Fria they had ever seen, with the most extensive flooding. Plus, the authorities have said this storm was once every 100 years phenomenon, so i'd be careful you're not being too hasty. Hopefully, we'll never see anything like this again in our lifetimes.
Except it did it 3 years ago

For Los Alcazares, this is much much worse than 2016, flooding is very extensive.
First floor apartments have significant advantages. Mud only has to be cleaned from the bottom steps
We had plenty of warning. Its important to park your car near the top of a hill. Not in a flat area.
