I am new to the area and I bank with bankia and need to withdraw several thousand euros in cash. My questions what are the cash withdrawal limits on atm daily. If I withdraw it at a branch is it just a matter of going in and asking for an amount and going back a day or so later.

it depends on the limit your bank sets on your
account but I think the norm is around €300 a day

Just closed my account with them after their letter about increased charges.
Opened a Cajamar Werrent Account NO charges at all & all done online.
Ours is an on-line account with bankia and we can withdraw 600 on each card per day
