I have a WISE Account, they are based in Belgium and use a BE IBAN number when paying bills.
I also have a Starling account with a UK IBAN and have had no end (ongoing) of problems with IBAN discrimination where the Utility Companies, Banks and other companies are obstructive.
If you look at the Wise website you will find they handle direct debits but i don't use them yet.
What I do like is the way a payment can be instantly made to a Spanish bank using a UK Debit card with no charges. The only thing I use a Spanish bank for is my mortgage payment. Which I guess they don't like!.
