We (67 & 75) are with DKV since 2018. Very helpful. OK due to the yearly increase now @ 370,00 per month

I may be wrong but internet seems to say the S1 only applies to oaps who were resident before brexit. I dont have residentia and a non lucrative visa requires health care insurance Its a bit of a tangle, but i think im correct

Ok well if that's the case I can only assume you will need private healthcare. On that I would suggest someone else on this site would help you?.Good luck. And sorry I can't help.

We used Sanitas, who are part of the BUPA group.

Do shop around as quotes can vary greatly, particularly dependent on pre-existing conditions.

Hiya

I have been in touch with https://perezlegalgroup.com, and they say that if you have an S1 then private medical insurance is not required, further exploration in process !

I would ask them to check / confirm that.

We've just completed the Non Lucrative Visa process and it clearly states that private healthcare is required (with no exclusions for those of pensionable age, etc.).
