Does anyone have first hand experience of good household insurance cover?
We have been with the same company for 5 years, ever since we bought our house, and now we discover they are useless.
We have called them several times and all promises to return our calls or visit the property are broken.
We have been with Pelayo since 2005. About 2009 we had a break in, they sorted everything quickly and efficiently - this included a builder as the cabrones had smashed holes in the wall of our house to get a reja out.
Our car is with Linea Directa, they are cheaper than Pelayo for car insurance. Pelayo is much cheaper for house insurance than Linea Directa although, to be fair, Linea Directa's quote included a lot of legal protection which we decided we didn't want.
