Hi everyone!

We’re coming over in a couple of weeks for a reccy! We are checking out the Costa Calida region in Murcia. We are a young family of 5 looking at areas to set up home initially.

We want to embrace the Spanish culture as much as possible so don’t wish to be on any Golf resorts etc. We are looking to put our children into Spanish schools and would like things going on and to be close to amenities!

Please hit me with your Costa Calida area recommendations!

Thank you 💕💕💕

I'm sure the person who posted the original post is bewildered by the replies but will sleep easy tonight safe in the knowledge that a French supermarket chain is opening a store in Los Narejos🤦😂

Take a visit to the next Municipality called San Pedro Del Pinatar/Lo Pagan....there are a number of lovely beaches including the mud baths and both public and an International School.

The area is under development so there are a number of opportunities for new houses and apartments. dependent upon your reuirements.

The town is on the border with the ValencianAlicante region but all have good links to the various supermarkets and the airports of Murcia (Corvera) and Alicante.

Sucina. Lovely village, friendly people. Only downside is poor public transport.

Thank you so much! Is it quite inland? We don’t want to be too inland for fear of the overwhelming heat with little ones in the summer! Don’t get me wrong I love it hotter the better but I think my babies will find it too much (as well as my husband!)
