You need to transfer it onto Spanish plates first!!

If you are a resident, then you can't drive a UK registered car - you would need to have it 'matriculated' onto Spanish registration, adjust or replace the headlights and pass an ITV test.

If you are not a resident, then you wouldn't need to register the car to your Spanish property.
