My wife and I along with our 21 year old daughter are looking to make a permanent move within six months. We are selling up and buying a smaller property for our eldest daughter to live in temporarily whilst she studies. We are concerned 're brexit but recent Spanish info seems to say whatever happens on 29/3/19 there will be a period when we can obtain residency, swap our driving licence and obtain healthcare. We shall have to work and whilst I accept unemployment is high in Spain none of us need to be brain surgeons to live comfortably mortgage free. There is plenty of conflicting advice on here and oddly people who appear to not live in the sun anymore. Any thoughts on our situation are welcome

The simple answer is Dont do it. Have you seen the flies in the summer and smelt the stink that you get from the bearby pig farm

Hi, healthcare is very expensive here and employment is quite scarce too unless you're fluent in Spanish, but if you come here with a pot of gold then I think you'll love it, is there a reason why you're only naming Hacienda or do you prefer urbanistic living, the areas surrounding Hacienda are lovely, anyway best of luck
