Can UK TV work in Camposol?  Would I be able to access Google, YouTube , Freeview on my UK TV in Spain?

The ever-useful N332 Facebook page has just updated the situation re UK driving licences. If you are resident in Spain and still have a UK licence time is running out for you to change it. After the deadline your UK licence will not be valid, and your only option would be to take a theory and practical test - in Spanish - to be legal.

“Extension to the deadline to change British licences. !!!!

Until 31st January you can do it. The information has been published on the web of the traffic department, together with the following warning; "Once Brexit takes place, UK licences from residents in Spain won´t be valid."

It does not make sense but the information is just in Spanish, and the only way of translating it is using a version of google translator located on the upper right-hand side.

We feel ashamed about this behaviour from the DGT towards the British community. From N332 we will keep fighting against this type of discrimination. When the information published has a target audience of non-Spanish speakers, it must be published in the English language.

Hi all 

Can anyone recommend a kitchen fitter to fit new work top for us please

Over here in Santiago de la Ribera during September (during Gota Frio) we lost the main U.K. channels .....i.e. BBC and ITV. 

ITV was non existent when we left at the end of a September.

We returned a few days ago and the above channels are now intermittent especially late at night when both become either unwatchable or non existent.

Has anyone else encountered the same problems or still encountering the same issues? 

We use Teleast for wi fi and TV....has anyone any recommendations to change providers especially as we are not resident in Spain and could look at a facility to switch the service on and off at our convenience?

Hi we will be spending our first winter months in Camposol this year. I know it's a bit subjective but does it get very cold at night if villa doesn't have central heating? Only a fire and heat option on 2 ac units. Is a duvet needed? Summer tog perhaps?

I'm coming over to Camposol in 2/3 weeks time to consider /check out purchasing/renting  property but

I'm thinking also of buying a small drone in the UK in the next few days, learning to fly it and so to take " cinematic" shots of the geology in and around Camposol over the five days I'll be in and around Camposol ( Tues 26/11/19 - Sun 1/12/ 19 inclusive)

Does anyone know if there are any " flying rules/restrictions" re flying a ( small) drone in and around Camposol ??... 

Murcia International Airport is quite close ( 20 miles from Camposol)... so the Spanish equivalent of Civil Aviation Authority restrictions might be enforced? Might I need to apply for a license ,,, soon ??? !! 

'Twould be great if anyone on this forum could fill me in !!!!

I'm gonna browse round to CAA site now ... maybe they publish any restrictions for Non UK airports ??
