Well I feel safer in camposol than I do where we live in the uk

As I have said your comments have been invaluable thank you - we are now getting stuck on the certificate of Habitacion with our lawyers and being a law graduate I take that certificate seriously the definition in Spainish law is that if a property doesn't have that certificate it is not ready to sell. It therefore bewilders me as to how Spainish lawyers can convey those properties without necessary legally required certificates.
This is a legal point that ought to be addressed by the system. I know my fellow Brits have been caught out on lots of levels in Spain we are just being cautious.

Many thanks for passing that on we have decided to complete the sale but not without our lawyers being totally grilled about the the certificate of Habitacion -;we get the deeds + Architects certificate which confirms that the property has been built to standard- when asked if the lawyer would buy without a legally required cert of Habitacion he said he would as services having been connected prove that it is legal recognised
To be fair I think both the Spanish and British should start again and get things sorted once and for all .
We fully intend to support the CRA who have been very helpful.
My background is Law and politics so will happily help the very able people of the CRA . The work already done by these people who have fought hard for understanding and progress have probably done really valid work the knowledge and experience of the chairman is amazing .
We nearly decided against but the urbanisation has too many positives the negatives need further work from all on camposol but bring in a service charge and let's make the place better. We have to find a new progressive dialogue with the town hall surely with all this covid horror we can see life can be so easily threatened let's work together to help the CRA and the Spanish who I for one think are great creative and warm .
Where there is a will !

Thank you for your honest opinion and comments. Its is good to hear opinions from as many people as possible when spending your hard earned cash. I think you are also spot on regarding new UK investors after 2021.

We actually did rent for a short while before going ahead but I do agree some of section C needs serious attention it would be unfair not to say that. I truly hope you have a better time in Bolnuevo which we think is lovely.
We are not buying on C and have met some of the neighbours we will have on our section they are lovely and helpful. ...

You have a right to say what you feel but I genuinely think that overall Camposol is good value and not cheap the past is well documented but I think with effort of everyone there things are going the right way for the urbanisation.
My experience is nowhere is perfect anywhere.
Some places were much better campos is a dump gone very rough with much trouble that's why it's so cheap

We love the villa a lot but we dont want to be victim purchasers.
If we pull out of the purchase it's more because of the effects of covid 19 and clear drop in market value than other things but cumulatively it will all reflect on a revised price we are willing to pay we will be happy to walk away if we have to we have a very comfortable life we dont want to buy in problems.
Thanks again
The advice from the agent is not correct. Covid and UK leaving Europe did not effect Spain house prices especially murica which are up over 200% on sales. People can't wait to get to camposol to view and purchase. If you can't make your minds up and need a agent to tell you not to purchase I'd find an other maybe one who lives on camposol and can give you the full picture. If you want first line beach be prepared to spend big over priced villas or a shoe box with noisy holiday makes and the odd nice home owner. This is my experience over 20 years on the costa blanca. I strongly recommend rent for a few weeks make up your own minds up.
Hello I'm new to this forum. I just wondered if any one could advise the best area to buy on camposol please. I keep seeing quite a lot of properties, which are within our budget, on sector c. I was just wondering if one of you properties would be suitable for my husband and I to use as a holiday home for 6 months of the year (3 months) returning to the UK for 3 months then returning to camposol for 3 months. Guess I would need a car unless we could get a property on sector b in budget. Be grateful for your input whether camposol would be OK for us. Best wishes. Thanks for letting me join

Are you able to do that? Dont forget staying in Europe has been curtailed since Brexit.

Hi
We would return to the UK after 3 months. As far as I am aware your passport allows you 3 months stay in Spain then you must return to the UK which is what we would do.
