Hello.

I'm new here. My name is Jan and I am from the Czech Republic. I'd like to buy a small apartment in Puerto de Mazarron. I was on vacation there, and I know the city a little, and I really liked it. I would just like to advise what you think of the Bahia area. Aren't there problems with flooding? And what about El Allamillo? I'm happy to welcome any information about living here. Thank you.

Hi Jan , There was some flooding around there but I don’t know how bad it was I have never been there . As for El Alamillo I have been living here for about 4 months, two mins to the beach 20 mins to the port and shops along the beach there are English people around you don’t have to rely on a car. When I came to Spain I didn’t want to be in a complex with community fees English football on the tv in the bars , it all depends what your looking for .hope this helps a little . Kevin .

Hello Jan.
We have a very nice 1 bedroomed apartment in Puerto de Mazarron, just 10 minutes walk to the beautiful sea front promenade. It is a 1st floor flat so no worries about flooding and it is in a secure gated community with a communal swimming pool. We are selling the apartment so if you are interested in more details let me know and I will send you some pictures etc.
Mark & Katrina.

Thank you Mark and Katrina for your post. I think your apartment is in Puertosol urbanization. I know the complex, I lived in it on vacation and I liked it. I know that there are apartments for sale.I am interested in what all the fees are there, who lives there and how it is in the area with flooding. And why are you selling your apartment? Jan

Thank you Kevin. El Alamillo is an area I'm considering, because I don't think there could be any problems with flooding. I don't have to live in complex as well, but apartment I am looking mostly for winter stay. I'm sure the winter weather will be better there than here in CZ.

Thanks. Jan

Hi Jan.

We are selling because of my health. I find it difficult to fly now and we live in England. To my knowledge the urbanization has not flooded, at least not while we have owned the apartment. About 60% of the apartments are permanent residents, the rest are holiday homes, mostly Spanish owned. The community fees are 360 Euro per year and the local tax is 180 Euro a year. Our apartment is 55,000 Euro.
