Moving to Murcia area

Hi everyone.

Just a quick email to introduce ourselves. We have lived in Tenerife for the last 15 years, but have decided to move to the mainland to be nearer our grandchildren, and to be able to get a nicer/bigger property than we have in Tenerife.

We are looking in the Murcia area, and will rent at first, until our apartment here is sold. We intend looking around to find the place we would like to settle.

My wife ran a small British primary school in Tenerife , but is now retired, I run my own IT/computer support business and plan to carry on doing that long term.

We are thinking of coming over initially October- April to see what the winters are like as we have be spoiled here in Tenerife Sur. :)

We hope to pick your brains for good estate agents for renting properties, and to find out what we have to do to register with a Social Doctor, we have our Tarjetas Sanitarias Canarias, and I am Autonomo, but not sure if we can use those there. Our Canarian Spanish is reasonable, just hope we are understood :)
