Hi everyone. We’ve just bought a house in Calasparra and we’re awaiting our visas before we move from the UK. We’re anticipating April now as the system seems painfully slow. One of the first things we’ll need to do is buy a car so any advice would be welcome. Luckily we’re within reasonable walking distance to the town. Looking forward to making lots of new friends!

Hello
Believe me ,once you have moved everything will still move at a snails pace .but once you accept its the Spanish way you adjust to it.
We purchased a car from the CarOutlet website.
A few places in and around Calasparra to buy cars, but we thought prices were ridiculous.
CarOutlet managed all the relevant documentation and delivered car to us.
Can only relate to my experience with them and other car dealers

Hi guys. You will enjoy the easy way of life but won't be disappointed as there is always something to do or go to. As for Cars, depends on whether you want new or second hand. An Opel garage in town sells new ones on behalf of the main dealership in Caravaca. In that town there are Ford, Citroen, Renault, Seat, Mercedes & VW dealerships and in Cehegin, there is a Kia dealership. If you want s/h there are a few dealers in Calasparra but as someone has replied, they do hold their prices which can be off putting. Thanks. Yes it seems as though we’ve picked a wonderful area to live. It certainly seems as though second hand cars hold their price!
