I will definitely try this, I also have Avon skin so soft & I shower in citronella but the buggers still get me! I also get infected. 

I used to get bitten all the time badly and had severe reactions to bites best prevention is odourless garlic capsules take them about a week before travel and everyday when in Spain I have never been bitten since and are also good for your heart you can buy them in Sainsbury’s for a couple of pound and they 100% work 

😂😂😂 i can just picture dozens of people smelling of vinegar carrying salt and spoons      but happy their bites don’t itch. I will try the salt remedy thou

Hi sue57, i did read all the posts, i found them VERY useful. I just couldn’t help seeing the funny side  visualising all the people with bottles of vinegar and packets of salt and maybe spoons for earrings, just my sense of humour, no offence intended to anyone 😄

I’m so glad someone does, not everyone gets my sense of humour. My mouth has a mind of its own,it doesn’t tell me until it’s spoken. Gets me into a lot of trouble until I explain.....it’s only a joke.😂 this afternoon I was preparing the bungalow for a viewing tomorrow, and with 2 dogs golden retrievers and 2 cats a lot of work to do. I was taking a break and going through the forum and saw the post. Towards the end my mind was cracking up laughing. Before I knew it my finger was on walkabout 😂😂😂
