Being new to the forum I’ve enjoyed ready the posts. I have been asked by my partner to enquire if anyone can advise if the mosquito problem is all over the Costa Calida or are there freedom areas. Plus are mosquitoes seasonal or occur in wintertime also.

This also works for my husband and myself--I always carry a very small bottle filled with salt ,don't need a wash cloth tho' just lick your hand, pour on salt and really rub in hard,  I have also told lots of people this and they come back to say it really does work !!

Hi thank you for that tip, I will have to put a couple of the sachets in my handbag. The only immediate solution I have at the moment is toothpaste my dentist gave me a little new one that stops the itching I also buy from Isla Plana farmacia a very tiny organic tablet and take 3-4 every 4 hours in the summer. He has a world of alternative medicine as I only sweat on my head I take those and they are brilliant Belladonna.

My biggest problem is I have A.P.S which I am life dependent on Warfarin they love my blood but once they have had a drink they will die raaaay

This is the ONLY remedy for me too! Stopt the itching, the swelling and the pain.
