I don't agree, you need a car. The houses are smaller. And you pay a community fee.
The Mazarron Country Club is getting a supermarket in the large building at the first roundabout which is a very good development. Property value/prices at the Mazarron Country Club are higher than at Camposol BECAUSE there is a Home Owners Association which takes very good care of the place. So BECAUSE of the fact that owners pay a community fee, overall it's infrastructure, green areas are better maintained than on Camposol. You describe paying a community fee as a bad thing but in reality the owners at Camposol should pay as well and should be happy to pay it to upgrade Camposol. Now, we can only rely on volunteers and the activity of the Mazarron council. Generally speaking the roads at MCC are wider and there's more parking space, the MCC is a lot cleaner (and on first impression looks better) than Camposol and it's closer to the Port and the beaches. Also there's more diversity within the population of the MCC. So that's a couple of pro's for the MCC.
BUT you are right at some points too. At the Mazarron Country Club most of the houses are smaller, building quality is about the same, most of the properties are holiday homes so it's very quiet for a large part of the year (which is fine if you're looking for that), most of the plots are smaller than at Camposol and there are still very little facilities. Value for money at Camposol is higher and there's a lot more activity as well. We choose Camposol and despite it's room for improvement we're still happy with our choise.
