Well i would say your not wrong at all.

But it means quite a few things.

Depends in what context you want to take it.

It can be translated to, don't mention it, but, i myself take as your welcome, as most do.

When learning, keep it simple.

AS I said in my post.....true translation Spanish word to English words,   di nada translates to.....its nothing

Well it's actually De nada, not Di nada if you want it right.

Then decide how you want to take the response.

Response ????? What are you talking about, this was never meant to try and undermine you, it was meant to help the person trying to learn Spanish with some true translation.

Guy who works with me in the UK is Spanish from Madrid,  he says the correct spelling is Di Nada,  I think he probably knows better than you.

If your only reaction to someone's post is to be nasty,  don't bother replying

Try winding your neck in.

Thank-you for letting me know i have been told that spanish can be differently spoken and spelt in many parts.

However in and around the camposol, mazzaron area its DE NADA,if that helps, like wise in the spanish classes i attend the teacher spells it that way.

At the end of the day lets not confuse things keep it simple spell it how your taught it

Hi Carol

Just dropping a note to say I understand your feeling as we to are thinking of retiring to Spain but are moving area as we had a holiday home in Marbella go 20 years but realised we did not want to retire there so sold to look around Spain and with Brexit needed a Visa but Covid-19 prevented 3 ye...

...ars of looking.

We are now able to book 3 months to tour an area . We went to the caves in Granada and stayed 1 month and had to get back Too cold if we are moving we would like the sun more regularly .

So we have decided to explore the Almeria Murcia area.

Is this where you are?

Would like your opinion of it as a place to retire.?

I too have grown up children no grandchildren but both over 30 so who knows

I am trying to learn Spanish but it is not easy.☹️
we are not able to get out until  Xmas to spend 3 months looking so need any possible places to investigate

Hope to hear back how you settle in

Hello, we are Carole and Dave, recently moved to Camposol in February.
We are British, although we moved here from Canada after 16 years, to retire.
We have 3 grown up children and an adorable grandson.
We are loving it here (especially since it has finally stopped raining) ...

...lol and we are looking forward to exploring the area and meeting and making new friends :) 🧡🇪🇸

Hi Carole

welcome, I am sure that you will make friends easily, most people on here are great genuine folk, there are volunteer groups and activities that will be great to get involved with plus the social scenes on sectors A and B

plus loads of places to explore
