Well if people Don't. Then what doe's that say about Your Neighbours. It will put people of Coming/And buying.Property Prices will Drop even more. 5 pound's God its not going to break the bank Surely peace of mind.I could miss one pint of beer or 2.Just to keep Scum breaking into my home.

It could be that whoever responded to this idea with such abuse are either the perpetrators themselves or, if not, then they are just as bad and clearly have no respect for normal, decent, law abiding citizens.

What a pity that the majority must suffer the ignorant minority and even worse, that it appears the law are unwilling to do what we are paying them to do.

Would it be possible for enough people to refuse to pay their IBI etc, since we get so little in return? If this were to happen, I wonder how quick the response would be then!!!

Just saying 😁

This would need advise from the CRA as to where we would legally stand.

I have always said our IBI should be payed into a private fund, for Camposol, the council would soon then stop saying that Camposol is nothing to do with them.

There is a place near by, who do this, and their IBI is payed for them and their community, just what we need, but aparantly its a long process to get this done.

Sadly we had hundreds of residents let Camposol down badly by not going out to vote more councilors onto the council, we would then have had a larger voice in our favour, coaches were layed on to get residents there, and bring them back, but, coaches were empty at times, very sad.

So,  what is the answer? as the council will always wash their hands of Camposol, and lets see where the 2.9 million euros vanishes to, as I am sure it will. along with the 880 thousand for the roads, as it will be the council who hold the money.

How many more years of fighting to get Camposol where it should be, just imagine all repairs done, all lights working, roads re surfaced, what a tip top urbanisation we would be, ok dream on baby.

Yep very sad 5 euro, but there you go, this is why nothing will get sorted.

Informed yesterday, every one look out for the grey/silver car, with 4 occupants, who are doing the rounds, stopping in area,s and looking at properties, get the car number, take a photo, put it on the forum, and on face book, the 4 occupants tend to slinck low in the car seats, very unusual, thats what the word seems to be.

We must start some where, there are residents who know, but holding back, stand up and be counted, you could be next.

Sadly it may come to this and buyers shy away, so that should gee up the estate agents here, and get them to make representation to the police because they will lose a lot of money, and sales nose dive, the more who complain the better, after all there are a great deal of people who make a very good living out of Camposol, but ignore what is going on, their added voice to the police and council, will work.

Yes this was pointed out to us, so we had a professional check on our 7 lamp posts.

All power was present, a few bulbs went on and of, and the report stated just change the old Sodium bulbs for new LED, and all should be ok.

But as its classed as a private road, the council refuse to change the bulbs.

So, as per a private road on D, we have got together, and will purchase large solar flood lights, and put them up, CRA say thats fine,  as if the council will not help, go for it.

Hi, I live on D, can you tell me what Calle you are on and perhaps meet up, I am one of the co-ordinators for D sector community watch and as a community we managed to foil a break in on D32 last night.

I think we could do with your knowledge to help the D sector overall.

Yes I remember that and we’d happily pay €5 per month but unfortunately as you said there was a lot of negative comments then the same people moan on Facebook about lack of support you can’t win with people like that.

Phil.

We are not residents, we do not use any social media so did not hear about the proposals of 5 euro to improve the security.

Might be worth raising that again and somehow get the message across to many because even as a holiday home owner we would gladly contribute

I'm also a security coordinator for D23 and help run the D sector security group,  please contact us privately if you have any knowledge of anything or would like to discuss security issues further.  We are happy to meet or speak on the phone or messages. We are always looking for more help.

Hi, pleased you are able to stop a break in, hope you got pictures, or even better managed to identify the culprit/culprits, I dont think I could hold back if I come across them, and would be ready to take action to show them we mean to stop them once and for all.

Yes happy to meet up, will send you a message asap to arrange.
