Can you please verify if there can be 2 people in a car when going to the Supermarket?

Where have you been?

ONLY ONE Person in the car.

The driver. He or she will do the shopping.

Just been to consum and the message still not getting through to some people, couples and groups still arriving/chatting together. Lines on supermarket floor just for decoration it seems.

The rules say that only the driver (wearing a mask) should be in a car unless there is a justifiable reason to have a passenger. If two people are in the car, the passenger must sit on the back seat, also wearing a mask. This is eminently sensible if the two people are not from the same household (eg taxi driver and fare - if taxis are still available??) but a bit daft if both people are sharing a home and a bed! And a bit illogical that someone, driving their own car alone, has to wear a mask. Still, rules is rules.

"someone, driving their own car alone, has to wear a mask. Still, rules is rules."

I cannot find in any of the declaration passed and signed into law that a lone driver must be masked. Someone is making things up.

PeterC, I got this information from the thread "Virus Shutdown". BillS has attached a notification from the La Manga Club management for their clients and it's listed on there.

Have read the image you mentioned, cannot see where it states it is an official government declaration, look to Only be local for la manga club. No official declarations l have seen require face mask for a single occupant. Apart from anything else none available in Camposol farmacias last time l went.

PhilTox, the document is an update for the "state of alarm", not just for the LM Club. But, like you, I cannot find this mentioned anywhere else, neither in Spanish or English, so I reckon they've got it wrong. It doesn't really make sense anyway!

Whatever the law says in these crisis conditions I would be reluctant to argue the point with a Guardi or police.

Shame people have to spread these bits of false info though.

With regards t this wearing a mask, I cannot find any rule that says so, even the World Health Org. say wearing a mask is not necessary unless you HAVE the virus, Not me saying it , its the WORLD HEALTH ORG:
