Thank you for your kind words. It really means a lot to us. Especially when it's a big move. I'm sure when we are down there we will look into getting involved with things on the urbanisation. All sounds very positive. Looking good for the future.

Your welcome, come and enjoy your life, it has already started that many are buying, as they are fed up with their jobs in the UK, no longer feel safe, and want out.

They are realising there is a great deal more to life.

The present situation will open many peoples eyes to their future, and Camposol will be well up the top on their list.

We have lived in Spain since 2001 in 2 different areas in orihuela costa and we have now decided to move to camposol in the murcia region. Which I am sure will have different workings than we are probably used to higher up the coast. Does camposol come under mazaron so we register on the padron there? And I tried to look on Google maps and saw 2 auyumento is this correct? At present we are based under orihuela but not the town we are under the costas which is based in playa flamenca.

Camposol is in the municipality of Mazarron, so yes, Padron registration is in Mazarron.

Good luck and welcome to Camposol

Yes, how correct you both are Lynn and SDB,  nice to have that instant good feeling about the property.   But without those good neighbours to go with it, you may as well be on Mars.  Sounds a wonderful place for our retirement, happy days are coming!! 馃槂

Take it from me, the neighbours were, and still are fantastic, the day we moved in they did everything for us, sorted everything, and told us where to go, and even drove us there for paperwork etc.

So, when we see new people , we can help them, and do the same, thats the Camposol ethos, and its great.

When I first heard the word Padron, I was lost, had no idea what it was, or how to find out, within days the neighbours had explained, and taken me to Mazarron to get it.

Can you see that happenig in the UK.

This is why we all need to build on what we have, its very precious.

We have a padron for the area where we live now and will fill in another one when we finally make the move down there next year. We are residents and fiscal residents also and have changed to a Spanish driving license. I'm sure someone will point me in the right direction where the town hall is in mazaron. We are hoping to come down for couple of nights next week and stay in a hotel in mazaron we like and it's not far a drive up to camposol and will frequent a couple of places to eat in. 馃槃

Brexit will make no difference, Spain has already stated that all will remain the same for expats.

Only a foolish government raking in millions every year from the Brits would alter things.

Spain is not stupid, it relies on expats for spending their pensions, and keeping Spanish workers in a job.

In the present and future crisis money speaks, and Spain will take in every Euro that comes their way.

My prediction, the EU within 2-3 years will crash, free movement will be welcome, Italy next to go in 2021 you will never stop Brits from buying in the sun, and Spain in particular will welcome them.

The Spanish government has already seen what has been devistating by Brits not coming on holiday, and they are crying out for them to return, as they are for Brits to buy and settle.

Smaller area,s I think will suffer, as big Communities rake in lots of Euro,s, and can be self sufficient if things go wrong.

Take it from me, the Spanish would be rioting in the streets if their economy was seen to crash because the Brits were not welcome and stopped buying, we are a great life line to them, and Spain knows it.

Properties on big communities will sell, just as those completed a while ago on Camposol have sold out, people like a big community, it brings security, work, help from others, and facilities that are lacking in smaller ones.

Of course people move on, it happens every where, but I can see the properties are snapped up asap, 3 in our area in 4 weeks, and people looking around and asking about others.

Camposol will be the last to have any problems, its a big winner for the local Spanish, and the Government both local and national, and they know it.

We had no problems with flooding, Mar Manor had all the floods, and all was ok in the last Gotta Fria, Camposol saw it through, and watched other area,s get damaged.

I am sure lots of work was carried out in the resent past to stop any further flooding here, and it worked.

Good for you, be sure to visit the port, its great, and yes come and have a drink on Camposol.

You can get your Padron at the town hall, there is no rush, just ask and many will show you where it is, in Mazarron, top end of the high street, into the square, far right in the corner, just then follow the road around, probably ask again, sorry cannot remember road names.

Thank you so much for all your help and kind words. Sounds like most people on camposol are there to help new people. We have lived on a community ourselves years ago and sociallised with many owners who were not there all the time but we looked out for each other and that's the type of lifestyle we want again. Will be awaiting our buyers to come back again next week after they have seen their solicitor then we can come down for a couple of nights. My husband wants to try the golf club on camposol for a meal at night. We got a copy of the coast 2coast last time we were at mercers in September and that has a lot of interesting things in it. Very informative also.
