CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A LOCAL SOLICITOR NEAR CAMPOSOL WHO THEY HAVE USED ? - Page 4

PALS, Puerto de Mazarron. Used more than once.

Mercers completely misrepresented / lied to us about the condition of the house that we purchased last month, requiring us to revisit for a month now to sort out and repair numerous issues before we can rent it out as a holiday let. 

They recommended PALS, who not only screwed up so many things, but then had the balls to blame us for the conveyancing taking over 4.5 months when it was entirely their fault (they took 7 weeks to send us a Power Of Attorney so that they could act on our behalf, then another 6 weeks to tell us that that form was wrong and to send us an amended one). Both Mercers and PALS "forgot" to tell us that the property was a probate sale until a week after we have paid the 10% deposit, hence we couldn't complete within 4 weeks as we had originally planned (although PALS later claimed that we knew it was a probate sale before paying the deposit and before even knowing that PALS existed). 

I accept that Mercers lied to us because they were representing their client (the vendors), but PALS definitely were NOT acting in our interests at any point (even on the day of completion at the notary) despite the fact that we paid them handsomely to do so.

Unfortunately, we had to pay PALS their fees to do our tax returns for a year in advance, otherwise we would have avoided them completely for the future, so they have until September 2023 to gain our trust back and keep us as their clients next year. However, we will NEVER consider using PALS for any future house conveyancing.

So if you decide to use PALS, I hope that you have better "luck" than we did.

We used Eugenio, in Marie Nostrum, in Los Alcazares. Very efficient and professional. Moniek, who works in the office, helps us so much. They quickly  respond to my emails . We are delighted with their service 

Having had similar experiences with these two businesses, I would also advise anyone to avoid.

Mmmm I have heard a lot about PALS we are with them but there is a certain person there that I would avoid. I trust Dawn there - that is all I am saying.

Aragon and Mendez in Mazarron.  Carmen is excellent. I have never heard a complaint. We have used her for 18 years. Honest and reliable unlike many. Speaks English. 

Sorry to Buck the trend but when we used PALS 7 years ago the service they provided was excellent. We have everything set up with them in terms of taxes etc. and we always get plenty of advance notice.

Guess plenty of things can change over time but can only comment on our personal experiences
