I can forsee a lot of properties going up for sale in Camposol in the near future. - plenty of rock-bottom prices to be had ; caused by the attitude of Mazarron Council . People can only stand so much hassle; those who can leave will do so.

The biggest problem is that the property owners are not paying enough( council tax) / IBI for the council to maintain the services on Camposol ...I own 2 properties in Spain 1 on Camposol I pay €400 per year IBI for a large 3 bed Neptuno With a pool ..my other property is a small 2 bed its on a small community of 200 villa's and I pay €180 per year IBI and €1,800 in maintenance charges...this is common practice all over the Spain..so for the council to ask for a additional €250 per year per household to maintain a large site like Camposol is a reasonable request..you cannot expect the rest of Mazarron to pay to maintain Camposol.
Fully agree,
You get what you pay for, and I am happy to pay a little extra to get services like lights, and road repairs.
Saying people will sell up, and lots of bargins to be had is defeatest, and will causes a lot of people concerns who may be stuck financially.
We all need to stick together and fight this.

I'm afraid you can't fight the inevitable ! But you can express your feelings at the timing of the implementation of the Community of Owners, after so many years of neglect, through your Councillor. - Who can afford to rectify everything needed now ? The Camposol cash cow has run dry!
What cash cow?
How much has been spent on Camposol since Masa were kicked out by the then council?
Our Councillor gained her seat under the PSOE banner. The same banner that the Mayor flies under.
She will have to toe the party line.
This issue needs external pressure.

Agreed,
Some people have no idea, and need to understand the real world, or just stay in the shadows, if they feel they cannot help.

Tony1948 - Camposol IBI payers are the Mazarron Council cash cow. Didn't you know ? Always have been ! Nothing out of the IBI payments received from Camposol has been returned in the form of investment in Camposol. The new Paseo in Porto, the new Marina, the new Sports complex, even the Blaya Blaya Crematorium - where did all the money come from ? - a lot of it came from the extra taxes Camposol contrtibuted.

sdb137 - What would be your plans exactly to "fight" the Mazarron Council plans ? You seem to be obsessed with "shadow people". - Real or imaginery -. I have no idea, but I think you are the one who needs to get real, and accept the inevitable. Don't think your pal Silvana will be supporting any exrternal influences either.
My tongue was firmly in my cheek.
The IBI money has been flowing from Camposol for some time, despite the issue with some not actually paying any.
All we've had from it are rubbish collections.
In addition, Camposol residents bring a HUGE amount of cash into the region every month. For example, my pensions are paid in the UK, but SPENT here in Murcia. There are thousands like me.
Your thoughts only, entitled to them, but always noted as negative.
