Hi all, my wife and I were planning on relocating to Camposol due to the community there, we are putting plans in place to visit next year. These council issues are giving us second thoughts, do the council really think so little of Camposol or do they treat all areas with this kind of contempt ? Are there any other communities in the Murcia area that councils make the repairs they are receiving the taxes for ?

Thanks

david

It is common practice that organisations are self sufficient, if situated on a private road. If you're looking at buying in Camposol, look on the CRA website, it will indicate public and private roads  this will make your decision easier.

It is common practice, but it assumes that urbanisations are actually completed.

Camposol has not been finished. The history is complex and the Council are desperately trying to teflon shoulder their responsibility to sort the problems they have ignored for years. Problems that the Council was complicit in causing.

Camposol is a great place to live and it can and will be even better

The short answer to that question Daves1 is NO.!  When I lived in  the Port Urb. Bahia whenever it rained, streets flooded up to 2ft. of water. every time . -  15 years later nothing has changed!  Every Summer the sewage created by thousands of extra holidaymakers overflows into the rambla untreated -  the same as before ! ( I used to tape the toilet seats down to stop the stench coming back  on us through the night).  In Spain , whoever makes the most noise about wrongs gets results ! That's why Camposol is in the unfinished state it is. APATHY ! People come here for a quiet life ,and mainly just bury their heads when something wrong occurs.

Believe it or not .. Camposol is one of the better area's to live in this can be put down to it's fantastic community spirit...this seems to be something that the  Mazarron council fail to understand.

Do not let it put you of, its great here, we will win what ever happens, the Brits bring in Millions of Euros, Spain cannot afford to lose this.

And that includes Camposol.
