Hi Ian, the villa looks lovely, however it is very remote with regard to amenities. If you and your missus like to socialise, which like myself ex forces like to do, then you need to buy on Sector B which I consider the best closely followed by Sector A. Even these sectors...

... have villa's that are quite a long walk to the the bars and restaurants. It is imperative that you do a thorough recce before you commit to anything. One thing has not been mentioned and that's income tax as a resident. I don't know about the UK but it's much higher than in Belgium. I for example have to pay an amount of 1,5 month of pension for tax. So if you don't have a lot of savings, you'll have to put aside a certain amount each month to be able to pay your income tax.

but most do drink, and its the most often question asked, so its the most highlighted subject when buying on D, or anywhere for that matter,

You are absolutely right, many drink a lot, proof are the people that drive on the wrong side of the road after a couple (or more) drinks and the run over palm-trees on the roundabouts the 1st day after lockdown 馃槉
