Just a question as we about to start the process.. at your appointment do they keep your passport?

They always keep them until its done then with the self addressed envelope you provide them at your appointment , they send it back.

They ask you if you want to leave it. We chose to leave ours as we were initially told it would only take about 3 weeks and he sent us to the nearby post office to get a prepaid recorded delivery envelope. It saves us going back to Manchester. 

Taking to Chris at upsticks the embassy in Spain as not issued any nlv for 5 weeks ☹️

They are still issuing them from UK embassies thankfully

Still waiting but someone who had an appointment a few days after me is showing as resolved when they log in! 😩

There’s seems to be no correlation between the appointment date and issue date. Someone who went to London on 17th June , the same day I went to Manchester had their visas 10 days later 😳

Yet another week passed And still no visa
