We are not retirees for a good few years lol. Happy with all the activities provided for all ages on our gated community plus the choice of 23 swimming pools, our family and my hubby and myself cannot sing it's praises highly enough. But as I said, each to there own. The world would be a dull pla...

Do you pay a community charge for the upkeep on the CDA site .
I think brexit has a lot to do with it. After brexit British people are not Europeans anymore which makes everything more difficult like 3 months visa for ex.

Yes, we do, the place is immaculate. The communal charge is well worth the money for what facilities are on offer, and the upkeep of the painting, gardens and pools etc is all taken care of for you.
I love the surroundings in Condado but not the houses. But that's everyone's choice of course.

I fell in love with the white sugarlump look of the houses in Menorca, none any higher than 2 storeys. We are outdoors lovers and have a massive roof terrace as we are in an end apartment with fabulous views of the mountains. We have 2 good size bedrooms with lots of storage space, 1 bathroom, kitchen and lounge/dining room. Has made our dream a reality.

How much is the community fee's on the CDA as you didn't say...I can only guess that they are up in the thousands per year with 23 swimming pools and the golf course to look after .. personally I think Camposol is a much better option with no community fee's to pay Camposol is also immaculate you won't see as much as a sweet rapper on the ground...I did look on the CDA back in 2013 when the builder's went bankrupt ...at that time the bank took possession and you could buy a 2 bedroom place for as little as 28,000 euros ..i didn't buy one as I couldn't get a straight answer as to how much the community fee's would be .

It varies, depending on what type of apartment or villa you are in, and wether there is a pool or garden view as far as I know, also if your fees are up to date and you drive within the speed restrictions, there is a reduction each month.
I prefer the Spanish style houses, not the sugarlump look. Luckily we are all different

You still haven't said how much the community fee's are.
