Where is Southern Ireland? If you're applying for an Irish passport you could at least get the name of you're future nationality correct. The system is overloaded since Brexit.

I have to agree Southern Ireland, is offensive term to the good people of the Republic of Ireland, I suppose when your typing quickly you just type fast without thinking , thank you the correct terminology , and no offence was meant to the people of the Republic of Ireland Hugh

If only it was that simple. Since Brexit you'll most likely have to do a driving course, same applies to your truck entitlements too. Unsure regarding PCP but would imagine personally the same would apply!

Also, should you be lucky to find employment then I doubt very much it would only be 3 days a week.

Good luck with the venture though!

I’ve got a friend in Majorca who owns the Scotsman bar he’s been there for over twenty years now , if I do have some problems hopefully he can help me with them ,I’m sure taking a test won’t be a problem, I’ve been driving for thirty years now , Had to change my barbering certificates in San Francisco, so you get buy with laws once your there , I’ve already been a logistics manger for Tesco Aldi Lidl , plus if I have to I work for  gist ,who have a massive logistics depot in Spain , I have contacts already , but wouldn’t mind trying my hand at becoming Estate agent , once your there you learn the rules quickly, but when I come to Spain I want live as they do in Spain, I want to speak Spanish eat Spanish, and live Spanish, cause I’m living in Spain , I don’t understand people who go to a different country live for years, and don’t want become more like the culture around them , my intentions are to get involved with the Spanish culture, to live as they do , I’m looking just now with my account about opening a small business in a Spanish town , to get myself more involved with the Spanish people, it doesn’t have to make a lot of money but if it lets me embrace the culture and the people then that’s great . Thanks for the information as I say any information is always helpful thank you Hugh

Totally agree my friend. Far too many people over that can order a beer in Spanish (mostly incorrectly) lol.

There are loopholes of course but I honestly don't think pursuing a heavy goods carrier would be a simple process these days. Would probably be made to do a course before a retest. I honestly don't know. I am a class 1 driver and believe me reversing a lhd truck after so many years of driving a rhd truck is no easy feat. We've all seen the poles and Romanians struggling back in the UK.

Either way I really hope you can achieve what is possibly one of the best lifestyles there is (in the sun too)!

For those who still don't understand.. Total population 65m..ish. Brexit voters 17m. That's a minority of voters.

For those who are confused, 65 million of the population are not all eligible to vote, the majority of people who voted voted for brexit.

So to put this to bed once and for all, there were 46million eligible to vote in the Referendum, but only 72% turned out to actually vote and many of these were spoilt or rejected. Leave attained 52% of the legal vote whilst Remain accumulated 48%. The majority of votes were to Leave.

Some people will never let this go unfortunately.

What is done is done, it cannot or will not change now. Let's live and let live I say!
